About Us...

How We Met:
Surprise! We met online! Both Trista and Steven were on catholicmatch.com, but Steven opted to contact her through Facebook (as he says, how many Tristas can there be in Charlotte.) We emailed for about three days before agreeing to meet. Our first date was at Wild Wings in Arsley at 1030 at night on October 6th (of course, Trista had to work late in the theatre). We had a few beers over Monday Night Football and a Red Soxs game. We knew instantly that it would work- we can both watch sports and pay attention to each other at the same time!

About the Bride:
Bright lights have always been a big attraction for Trista Rothe. She works as a freelance Lighting Designer in Charlotte. She got her Bachelors in Technical Theatre from Greensboro College and her Masters in Lighting Design from Florida State University. Although, she has worked in lighting all over the country, nothing makes her more happy than spending a day with Steven. She loves family, faith, friends, wine, and the arts.

About the Groom:
While his fiance is more comfortable with the big bright lights, Steven Bremer prefers the soft glow of a computer monitor. He graduated from Wake Technical Community College in 2001 with an Associates in Computer Information Systems. Steven moved to Charlotte in 2007 where he works for Perimeter eSecurity as an Account Manager. Steven not only enjoys spending time with his future bride, but also playing kickball and golf, attending Mass and church functions, traveling, and eating all the tacos he can get.
